SG fantasy football league

C'mon, you know you want to! We also need to come up with a snappy league name. This is just kind of a test balloon to see if we have enough people interested to do it. Post in the comments ideas, suggestions, and how much money your willing to put on your mad skills. I think we could do the draft here or through e-mail.

Fantasy Football is HOT!

Count me in hayes. If you can handle a Colts fan in the mix.

Colts fans are WAY worse than Republicans.

I need more info on how this all works before I submit brain power or cash. Anyone care to give me the skinny?

This link is a good start for fantasy football n00bs. Enjoy!

I've been in leagues for the last 2 years and it's pretty wild.

Thanks, Stephen. I'll give it a look-see.

I was going to go thru ESPN, if any one wants to jump in and be the 'commish' that would be great, I'm kinda of a n00bie myself. I did one last year, but wasn't very active. I expect it there will be some of us just screwing around and guessing (me) and others who will kick our asses...

jb you in?

I used ESPN's FF one year, wasn't impressed, system down a lot, navagation wasn't very easy. I suggest fleaflicker.com, we used them last year with buddies here a the company and it worked out well and had a lot of great features.

Hey, I'm up for this.

"Tom Brady's Raging Love Children" is/are setting up training camp now as we speak.

I've been commish of a fantasy football league before (and any number of them can be set up online at gratis, so money's not necessarily a requirement), plus I'm from the Deep South, so football's kind of a birth rite for me anyway. If no one else wants the duty I guess I could be talked into it.

I realize it's about football, but I kinda like the idea of you guys having a name related to what brought us all together. What do you think about something like 'Roberts Steals Second'?

kkronc said...

hmmm...maybe "we survived grady?"

I'm a dork.

Who's redbeard76? I can't figure it out...

I'm pondering whether I want Hard Fat Poodle to be the name of my football fantasy team when it has worked so well for me in baseball the last three years.

Hmmm.

Randy Moss's Parking Ticket?

The Sunday Brew-ski's?

Bill Romanowski Once Groped Me at a BC Halloween Party?

I shall ponder.

Sotb, I just checked ESPN Fantasy Names and that last one you are suggesting has been selected by 3,451 participants in some form.

... at my kids 3rd Grade recital.

This is just a suggestion: but maybe we could play for Sox Tickets instead of cash. Don't know how it would be noodled out but that would definately keep with the theme of how we all met.
